Application of Mini-CEX Teaching Method in Endocrinology Practice Teaching

Objective To analyze the common problems and current situation in endocrine practice teaching in our hospital,and further explain the necessity of using mini CEX teaching method in endocrine teaching.Methods A total of 103 students from two five-year classes of clinical specialty of grade 2015 who practiced in the undergraduate room from February to August 2019 were randomly selected.Mini-CEX teaching method and LBL teaching method were adopted respectively,and the teaching effects were compared.Results The results of case analysis in mini CEX teaching method group were better than those in LBL group,The questionnaire survey showed that the proportion of mini CEX teaching group that can significantly improve students'clinical thinking ability,teamwork ability,language expression ability,comprehensive analysis ability,autonomous learning initiative and learning interest was higher than that of LBL group(P<0.01).Conclusion we recommend the use of Mini-CEX teaching model in clinical internship teaching of endocrinology.
