| Abstract: | Hepatic alveolar echinococcosis is a serious disease that is characterized by tumor-like infiltrative growth. At present, complicated cases of the disease are few, and yet the treatment is controversial. In this article, we report a patient with a giant hepatic alveolar echinococcosis. Based on radiologic imaging, a radical operation with complete removal of the giant lesion was performed successfully. |
