绵竹县儿童计划免疫保偿制影响入保因素的研究

本文通过对开展儿童计划免疫保偿制的绵竹县,1500名7周岁内儿童的抽样调查,初步探讨了投保者方面影响儿童入保的因素。结果提示:年龄较大儿童入保率较低(P<0.01),家长文化程度较低者入保率较低(P<0.05),家庭经济收入水平较低者入保率较低(P<0.001),家长对计划免疫及其保偿制的认识水平(综合评分)较低者入保率较低(P<0.001),并讨论了其意义。

A STUDY OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE RATE OF PARTICIPATION IN AN EPI INSURANCE PROGRAM IN MIANZHU COUNTY

The EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) insurance program, which was developed for improving children immunization performance in China in 1984, has proved to be beneficial to the implementation of EPI pr6ducing satisfactory social and economic benefits. This paper describes a study of factors affecting the rate of participation in this program. A total of 1500 children under age 7 (according to the age specification of the EPI insurance program in the county) was sampled for analysis. A questionnaire related to many possible factors was administered by a group of trained interviewers. Data preparation was done by computer using single factor analysis and unconditional logistic regression analysis methods. Four factors were identified to be significant: 1. the childrents age (P<0.01) , 2. the parents education level (P<0.05) 3. the family's income level (P<0.001), 4. children's parents' knowledge about EPI and its insurauce program (P<0.001). The rate of participation of elder children is lower than youngers'. The rate of participation is lower when the children's parents' education level is lower, their family income level is lower or their parents lack correct knowledge about EPI and its insurance program. The implications of these factors is discussed.
