The Research of Scanning Techniques and Methods of Normal Small Bowel in Triphasic Spiral CT

Objective To investigate the optimal combination of scanning techniches and methods of normal small bowel in triphasic spiral CT.Methods:80 cases of normal small bowel were randomly divided two groups, each group were scaned by adopting one of two different technical parameters, respectively.36 and 25 cases of good qualified images from which we had scanned were respectively attained from each group by Double-Blind method, and x2-test was P<0.01.Results To getlay a good qualified image must play attention to the following 1. oral contrast agent: water as contrast agent is prior to iodic radiographic agent for the dipiction of small bowel wall;2, taking disjunctive radiographic agent is better than taking oneoff radiographic agent; 2.influence of contain iodic radiographic agent: high contain iodic radiographic agent is prior to low contain iodic radiographic agent. 4. the optimal scanning parameters: 120KV , 200MAS , Collimation 2.5mm , pitch 1.5. 5.selection of phase :Artery phase images, portal phase images, and balanced phase images were acquired after 30s, 60s and 180s of the administration, respectively.Conclusion Optimal scanning techniches and methods are very importanet to reveal the small bowel locations ,shapes, peripheral structures, and they are the bases of recognization to the abnormal small bowel.
