| Abstract: | Microperimetry is a new technique for visual functional examination. It is the only reliable method of visual field testing in patients with low vision, instable or eccentric fixation due to macular diseases, making accurate match of fundus structure. The instruments, principles, testing methods and clinical implementation were summarized in this review. |
