| Abstract: | We studied the possibility of using artrofoon in the treatment of patients with localized suppurative postoperative appendicular peritonitis. A significant inhibiting effect of the preparation on endogenous intoxication parameters was demonstrated. Inhibition of myeloperoxidase hyperactivity is considered as a possible mechanism of the therapeutic effect of artrofoon as a component of complex therapy. |
