| Abstract: | This paper discusses the results of a local initiative in the West Midlands (UK) which looked at how businesses in engineering, utilities and foundry trades managed the risks from hand-arm vibration. Inadequacies of health surveillance programmes and the need for enforcement action are outlined. |
