Clinical significance of determination of post-operative changes of serum SCC, VEGF and TSGF levels in patients with Eso-phageal cancer |

| Abstract: | Objective To study the sigificance of post-operative changes of serum SCC,VEGF and TSGF levels in patients with Esophageal cancer.Methods Serum SCC（with RIA）VEGF（with ELLSA）、TSGF（with Biochemistry）levels were determined both before and after operation in 32 patients with Esophageal cancer and 35 controls.Results Before operation serum SCC,VEGF and TSGF levels in the patients were significantily higher than those in the controls（P0.01）.Six months after operation,the differences were not significant（P0.05）.Conclusion Changes of serum SCC,VEGF and TSGF contents after operation might be of prognostic importantce in patients with eso-phageal cancel. |
