Observation of therapeutic effect of Baotailing tablet combined with western medicine on early threatened abortion

Objective To observe the effect of Baotailing tablet combined with conventional western medicine on early threatened abortion.Methods 80 cases of early threatened abortion were randomly divided into two groups.40 patients in control group were treated by oral administration of Vitamin E 100 mg,once a day,and intramuscular injection of HCG according to serumβ-HCG and gestational weeks or progesterone injection 20 mg,every other day.Cases in treatment group were treated by Baotailing tablet 5 tablets,thrice a day,combined with routine therapy.Results The effective rate in treatment group（87.50%） was higher than that in control group（77.50%,P0.05）.There was significant difference between two groups on stop time of vaginal bleeding and disappearance time of abdominal pain or backache pain（P0.05）.Conclusion Baotailing tablet combined with conventional western medicine can rapidly improve symptoms,short medication duration.The effect is superior to that of conventional western medicine.
