| Abstract: | Objectives To understand the level of job stress of soldiers in desert,and to analyse the cause of it,so as to provide scientific basis for improving their ability of coping with special environment and for keeping well their mental health status.Methods The Job Stress Survey（JSS） scales and basic information questionnaire were adopted to investigate 226 soldiers in the desert（desert group） and 247 soldiers in city proper（control group）,and compare the the level of occupational stress of two groups.Results The soldiers in stress group had higher job stress intensity,job stress frequency and index,job pressure frequency and index,as well as lack of organizational support frequency and index than the control group（P0.05,P0.01）.Conclusions The higher level of job stress,job pressure and lack of organizational support of soldiers in desert may relate to the special job environment. |
