非小细胞肺癌微血管计数与血管内皮生长因子表达

摘    要:目的 探讨血管内皮生长因子 (VEGF)在非小细胞肺癌 (NSCLC)浸润和转移中的作用。方法 应用免疫组化法检测 6 5例癌组织中VEGF蛋白的表达及微血管计数 (MVC)。结果 NSCLC组织中VEGF阳性表达率为 83 .1%(5 4/ 6 5 ) ,有转移组癌组织中VEGF阳性表达比例 (10 0 %,44/ 44)以及MVC(5 8.90± 31.45 )均显著高于无转移组 (47.6 %,10 / 2 1;2 1.44± 12 .77) (P <0 .0 1) ;Ⅲ期肺癌VEGF表达阳性率 (10 0 %,2 9/ 2 9)以及MVC(6 0 .2 4± 2 8.2 9)亦显著高于Ⅰ和Ⅱ期肺癌 (6 9.4%,2 5 / 36 ;19.5 3± 16 .2 7) (P <0 .0 1)。VEGF表达强度与MVC间有密切关系。在不同组织学类型及肿瘤直径间VEGF阳性率和MVC均未见显著性差异 (P >0 .0 5 )。结论 VEGF可能在NSCLC浸润和转移过程中发挥重要作用 ,检测VEGF表达及MVC有助于判断NSCLC转移及预测患者预后。

Abstract:Objective To study the effects of vascular endothelial growthfactor (VEGF) in the invasion and metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods The expression of VEGF and the microvascular count (MVC) were determined in 65 cases of NSCLC by immunohistochemistry method. Results The positive rate of VEGF expression was 83.1%(54/65) in 65 cases of NSCLC. The microvascular count in patients with metastasis was significantly higher than that without metastasis (58.90±31.45 vs 21.44±12.77,P<0.01). The microvascular count in patients with stageⅠ-Ⅱ was significantly lower than that of stage Ⅲ disease(19.53±16.27 vs 60.24±28.29, P<0.01). The positive rate of VEGF expression was remarkably higher in patients with metastasis(100%,44/44) and in stage Ⅲ disease (100%, 29/29) than that in patients without metastasis(47.6%, 10/21) and in stageⅠ-Ⅱ disease (69.4%, 25/36)(P<0.01). VEGF expression was closely related to MVC, but not to histological types and the size of tumor (P>0.05). Conclusion The results suggest that VEGF may play an important role in the invasion and metastasis of NSCLC, and detection of VEGF expression and MVC might be helpful to judge the metastasis of NSCLC and to predict the prognosis of patients with NSCLC.
