中药对807例HIV/AIDS病人CD4淋巴细胞计数的影响

目的观察中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目中,连续接受中药治疗36个月的807例艾滋病病毒（HIV）/艾滋病（AIDS）病人CD4淋巴细胞计数的变化情况,以探讨长期中药治疗对病人免疫功能的影响。方法用自身前后对照的方法 ,对807例HIV/AIDS病人经中医药治疗后7个时点（疗前、6、12、18、24、30、36个月）的CD4计数变化、分层分析（〈200个/mm3、200～350个/mm3、〉350个/mm3）、不同病期、不同干预手段、可能感染时间等方面进行分析,并对7个时点主要症状积分的变化进行观察。结果中药对CD4计数〈200个/mm3和200～350个/mm3之间的病人效果较好;可能感染时间集中在1990-1995年之间的病人,服用中药3年CD4的水平基本保持稳定;中西药合用的效果优于单纯使用中药。结论长期服用中药可以稳定病人的免疫功能,远期疗效较好。

Clinical observation of effect of traditional Chinese herbs on CD4 count in 807 people living with HIV/AIDS

Objective To analyze the change of CD4 count in 807 people living with HIV/AIDS continuously treated with traditional Chinese herbs for 36 months so as to assess their effect on the immune functions of the receivers. Methods Comparisons were adopted in people living with HIV/AIDS before and after the treatment with traditional Chinese herbs,and the indexes of CD4 counts （200/mm3 ,200-350/mm3 and 350个/mm3）and scores of clinical symptoms were measured at 7 time points （0,6,12,18,24,30 and 36 months ）. Result The traditional Chinese herbs displayed relatively good efficacy for patients whose CD4 counts 200/mm3 ,between 200 and 350/ mm3 and350cell/mm3,the patients who got infected between 1990 and 1995 and were treated with traditional herbs for 3 years could maintained stable CD4 level. The efficacy of treatment combining Chinese herbs with HAART was higher than that of using Chinese herbs alone. Conclusion Long-term use of Chinese herb could maintain the immune function of people living with HIV/AIDS and may achieve lasting effect.
