去势对西门塔尔牛散栏饲养行为的影响

摘    要:为了研究去势对西门塔尔牛采食、反刍、爬跨、打斗和卧息等行为的影响。试验选取16月龄的西门塔尔公牛50头,依据体重进行配对试验设计,分为对照组和去势组,试验期56 d。去势组公牛采用公畜无血去势钳去势。试验结果表明:去势组的采食速度和反刍速度均低于对照组,但差异不显著(P>0.05)。去势组的反刍头数比对照组高5.13%,差异显著(P<0.05)。对照组的爬跨头数和打斗头数分别是去势组的15.8倍和3.78倍,差异极显著(P<0.01)。卧息头数去势组比对照组高7.78%,差异也极显著(P<0.01)。结果说明:去势处理对采食行为、采食速度和反刍速度无影响,但对西门塔尔牛群体行为反刍、爬跨、打斗和卧息行为影响显著。

Abstract:In order to study the effect of castration on Simmental cattle’s behaviors consisting of feed intake,rumination, mounting, battle and resting. 50 Simmental cattle(at the age of 16 months) were selected and used in a paired design of single factor by body weight, which were divided into control group and castration group, the trial period was 56 days. Simmental cattle in castration group were castrated with bloodless male castration forceps. The results showed that the feed intake rate and rumination speed of cattle in castration group were both lower than cattle in control group, but the difference was not significant(P >0.05). The number of ruminant cattle in castration group was 5.13% larger than that in control group(P <0.05). The numbers of cattle with behaviors of mounting and battle in control group were 15.8 times and 3.78 times higher than in castration group, respectively, with an extremely significant difference(P< 0.01). The number of resting cattle in castration group was 7.78% higher than that in control group, the difference was also extremely significant(P< 0.01).In conclusion, castration had no effect on feeding behavior, feed intake rate and rumination speed, but had significant effect on rumination, mounting, battle and resting behavior of Simmental cattle.
