民国时期中医医院类型研究

在政府排斥中医的背景下，民国中医界顶着巨大压力，主要依靠自身力量，经过艰苦卓绝的努力，建立一批中医医院。虽然它的设备和规模远不及西医医院，但是其历史意义不能低估。传统中医以私人诊所为行医空间，彼此封闭，互为对手。遇到烈性传染病时，私人诊所自身难保，很难救治患者。中医医院与中医诊所相比，有规模化、集约化及专业化的优势，在面对重大公共卫生突发事件时，这些优势更是显得十分突出。中医医院制度之确立，是中医学的一个重大创新，也是个巨大的进步，更是其走向现代化的一个重要标志。

Study on types of TCM hospitals in the Republican Period of China

Repelled by the government of the Republic of China, TCM circles set up a number of TCM hospitals through indefatigable efforts by depending on themselves to fight against high pressure from the government. The TCM hospitals were of high historic significance, even though their equipments and sizes can't be compared with that of the western hospitals. Traditionally, TCM doctors practiced in private clinics and were closed and opponent to one other. When epidemic diseases were prevalent, private clinics were unable to fend themselves, even less to rescue the patients. As compared with private TCM clinics, TCM hospitals were larger in size, intensive and professionalized, rendering themselves capable of playing a significant role in severe public health events. The establishment of TCM hospital system was a great innovation and tremendous progress in TCM circle, marking its advances toward modernization.
