胃癌及癌旁组织癌胚抗原分布的免疫电镜观察

了解胃癌及癌旁组织癌胚抗原(CEA)超微结构水平分布及意义。应用免疫电镜技术对14例胃癌切除标本进行CEA分布的定位观察。结果:正常胃粘膜CEA含量很少或阴性,仅表面微绒毛见微弱CEA;肠化上皮CEA主要分布在吸收细胞微绒毛及杯状细胞粘液颗粒之间;而胃癌细胞CEA除分布于腔面微绒毛外,尚分布细胞侧面、基底面或整个胞膜,还见于胞浆膜结构中。胃癌与正常及肠化上皮CEA分布的差异说明表面膜成份极性丧失是上皮性肿瘤细胞特征之一,癌细胞CEA分布异常可能导致癌细胞某些生物学行为改变。

Immunoelcctron Microscopic Observation of Carcinoembryonic Antigen in Gastric Cancer and Adjacent Tissue

It was to illustrate ultrastructuraug carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in gastric cancer and adjacent tissue and its significance. The distribution of CEA in fresh specimens from gastric cancers of 14 cases was observed by immunoelectron microscopic technique. The results showed that little or no CEA existed on the microvilli of normal gastric mucosa. In intestinal metaplasia cells, CEA mainly existed on the microvilli of absorptive cells and among the mucus particles of goblet cells. In gastric cancer, CEA existed not only on the apical microvilli surface, but aiso on the lateral and basal surfaces or the entire surface of the canler cells. CEA was also found in intracellular membrane structure. The deviation of the distributions of CEA among gastric cancer cells and normal epithelium and intestinal metaplasia cells suggested that loss of polarity of surface membrane is one of the characteristic of neoplastic epithelial cells. The abnormal distribution of CEA might result in major changes in the biological behavior of the cancer cells.
