Medical simulation training: a new approach to rapidly improve clinical competence of medical students in urology

With the rapid development in new technology, the need for clinical competence of urologist has been increased. Meanwhile, en-largement of medical education and tight physician-patient relationship have accelerated the shortage of teaching resource. Hence the culture of medical students＇ clinical skills in urology is severely limited by the mentioned situations. Medical simulation training offers a promising arena for learning technical and non-technical skills in a safe, and effective setting is becoming a new approach to rapidly improve the clinical competence of medical students in urology.
