Complement Preservation in Citrated Human Blood |

| Abstract: | Total hemolytic complement activity was measured periodically in citrated samples of whole human blood stored for three weeks under usual blood bank conditions. The loss of complement was gradual; an average of 97 per cent of the total activity remained after one week and 90 per cent after three weeks. |
