| Abstract: | Painless, bilateral parotid enlargement due to benign lymphoepithelial cysts is an often unrecognized manifestation of HIV-type
1 infection. Diagnosis can be made clinically and confirmed by tests. Medical treatment with combination antiretroviral therapy
is the cornerstone of current medical management. |
