| Abstract: | In a single-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot study, patients who received 0.625 mg daily of synthetic conjugated estrogens A experienced a statistically significant reduction in the average number of hot flushes and galvanic skin responses. The polysomnographic change in sleep measures did not reach statistical significance, but the data suggest an overall improvement in sleep quality in the treatment group. |
