Abstract:Myopia is one of the most common ophthalmic diseases in China.Due to the axial growth in myopic patients,pathological fundus changes may easily occur accompanied by mechanical strain,causing the progressive decline of visual quality and even blindness in severe cases.Optical coherence tomography angiography is a new non-invasive imaging technology that can obtain visual images of retinal and choroidal microvascular stratification in a few seconds.This paper reviews the application of optical coherence tomography angiography in observing fundus vascular density,blood flow area,and common related complications in high myopia patients in recent years,aiming to provide a reference for ophthalmic clinical work.
