Abstract:Pancreatic Kallikrein(70U/mg, 10mg/kg body weight) was injected intraveneously in gerbil and then bilateral caroid arteries were ligated. Pail microcirculatory blood flow was measured by using Laser Doppler flowmeter through parietal cranial window before and after ligation. Results showed that pail microcirculatory blood flow was increased obviously in the Pancreatic Kallikrein administrated gerbil compared with the nontreated gerbil and could reach to 75% of the normal control level. Results proved that Pancreatic Kallikrein could improve the pail microcirculation in brain ischemic gerbil. Which implied this drug could be used in brain ischemic patient.
