Changes of Hemorheological Indexes of Kidney Diseases

The hemorheological indexes were measured in 42 patients with various kidney diseases. The results were compared with those of 100 normal persons. All the indexes of the patients with nephrotic syndrome and chronic renal failure, including blood viscosity, fibrinogen, length, dry weight and wet weight of thrombus were higher than those of the health control groups( P < 0.01 ). There was a notable difference between them, especially in the length, dry weight and wet weight of thrombus. The results indicate that the measurement of hemorheology of the kidney diseases is a momentous significance to exploring the effective measures of prevention and cure of the thrombosis.
