| Abstract: | Objective To develop an HPLC method for determining the contents of baicalin and berberine hydrochloride in Xiaoyanshuan.Methods The contents of baicalin and berberine hydrochloride were determined with Waters SymmetryShield-C18 column（4.6 mm×250 mm,5 ？m）.Acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid was used as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 264 nm.Results The linear correlation of the baicalin was good in the range of 0.06518-0.3259 ？g and the recovery was 98.11%（RSD=0.99%）.The linear correlation of berberinen hydrochloride was good in the range of 0.1056-0.528 2 ？g and the recovery was 97.32%（RSD=0.63%）.Conclusion The quality control is feasible and can be applied to the quality control of Xiaoyanshuan. |
