| Abstract: | Diffuse malignant mesothelioma is a malignant tumor arising in the pleura from mesothelial cells. It has extremely polymorphous varieties of morphological patterns. Thus, confirming histopathologic diagnosis as mesothelioma, it should need not only histological examination but several methods such as special stain, immunohistochemical study, cytology of pleural effusion and electromicroscopy. |
