健康成人新纹状体区铁沉积及体积与年龄的相关性

摘    要:目的 应用MR磁敏感加权成像(SWI)观察健康成人新纹状体区铁沉积及体积与年龄的相关性。方法 对45名成年健康志愿者采集头部MR三维T1WI及SWI,根据年龄分为A组(年龄23~37岁)、B组(年龄42~58岁)、C组(年龄61~79岁)共3组,每组15名,测量及比较双侧新纹状体区(包括尾状核和壳核)平均相位值及校正体积;分析双侧新纹状体区平均相位值与校正体积的相关性,以及双侧新纹状体区平均相位值及校正体积与年龄的相关性。结果 3组间左侧及右侧尾状核和壳核平均相位值及校正体积差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.01),两两比较差异亦均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。左侧与右侧新纹状体区平均相位值差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。左侧尾状核校正体积小于右侧(t=-2.24,P=0.03),左侧与右侧壳核校正体积差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。左、右侧尾状核平均相位值与校正体积均呈正相关(r=0.84、0.83,P均<0.01);左、右侧壳核平均相位值与校正体积均呈正相关(r=0.77、0.61,P均<0.01)。双侧新纹状体区平均相位值、双侧新纹状体区校正体积均与年龄呈负相关(P均<0.01)。结论 随年龄增长,健康成人新纹状体区铁沉积增多、体积缩小。

Abstract:Objective To observe the correlations of iron deposition and volume of the neostriatum with age in healthy adults using MR susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI). Methods Three-dimensional-T1WI and SWI of head of 45 healthy adult volunteers were collected. The volunteers were divided into group A (age 23-37), B (age 42-58) and C (age 61-79) according to age, with 15 ones in each group. The mean phase values and corrected volumes of bilateral neostriatal regions (including caudate nucleus and putamen) were measured and compared among groups and between each 2 groups. The correlation between mean phase value and corrected volume of bilateral neostriatum were analyzed, and the correlations of mean phase value and corrected volume in bilateral neostriatum with age were analyzed. Results There were significant differences of the mean phase value and corrected volume of the left and right caudate nucleus and putamen among 3 groups (all P<0.01), also in pairwise comparison (all P<0.05). There was no significant difference of the mean phase value between left and right neostriatum (P>0.05). The corrected volume of the left caudate nucleus was smaller than that of the right caudate nucleus (t=-2.24, P=0.03). There was no significant difference of the corrected volume between the left and right putamen (P>0.05). The mean phase values of the left and right caudate nuclei were positively correlated with the corrected volume (r=0.84, 0.83, both P<0.01), and the mean phase values of the left and right putamen were positively correlated with the corrected volume (r=0.77, 0.61, both P<0.01). The mean phase values of bilateral neostriatum and the corrected volume of bilateral neostriatum were all negatively correlated with age(all P<0.01). Conclusion The iron deposition in the neostriatum increased, and the volume decreased with aging in healthy adults.
