红景天乙醇提取液对实验性糖尿病大鼠血糖及肾脏结构变化的影响

目的]研究长白山红景天乙醇提取液对实验性糖尿病大鼠血糖变化及肾脏结构改变的保护作用.方法]取Wistar雄性大鼠,腹腔注射链脲佐菌素诱导制作糖尿病大鼠模型,随机分为模型对照组、红景天提取液大、中、小剂量组,另设正常对照组.分别灌胃给予红景天提取液大、中、小剂量组大鼠5.00,2.50,1.25g/kg红景天乙醇提取液,正常对照组及模型对照组大鼠分别灌胃给予等体积的蒸馏水,每日1次,周期为5周.末次给药后检测各组大鼠血糖,剖取肾脏,观察肾组织结构.结果]红景天提取液各剂量组大鼠给药后血糖均显著低于给药前;肾脏组织化学检查结果显示,红景天提取液治疗5周后肾小球基底膜增厚得到明显改善.结论]长白山红景天乙醇提取液对链脲佐菌素所致实验性糖尿病大鼠血糖升高及肾脏结构改变具有保护作用.

Protective effects of the ethanol extract of Rhodiola rosea on blood glucose and structural changes of kidney in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats

OBJECTIVE To study the protective effects of the ethanol extract of Rhodiola rosea on blood glucose and structural change of kidney in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. METHODS Wistar male rats were divided into normal control group,intraperitoneal injection of STZ-induced diabetic rats were randomly divided into model control group,5.00,2.50,and 1.25 g/kg dose of the Rhodiola rosea extract groups,and normal and model control group rats were fed an equal volume of distilled water,1 time per day for 5 weeks. After last administration,the blood glucose was detected and structural changes of the kidney were observed in each group. RESULTS The blood glucose was significantly lower in the groups of different doses of the Rhodiola rosea extract than before administration,and kidney histochemical stain results showed that the glomerular basement membrane thickening was obviously improved. CONCLUSION The ethanol extract of Rhodiola rosea in Changbai mountain has a protective effects on the increase of blood glucose and kidney structural change in STZ-induced diabetic rats.
