| 摘 要： | 恶性肿瘤是美国中老年人死亡的主要原因。2007年美国癌症死亡人数为56万,占全部死亡人数的23%。预计2011年美国新发癌症病例将达到160万,有57万人死于癌症。但大多数的癌症可以通过干预措施得以预防,比如控烟、改善饮食习惯、加强体育锻炼和控制肥胖。同时早期诊断也是美国控制恶性肿瘤的工作重点。定期进行癌症筛查,能够实现癌症的早期诊断,降低癌症患者的死亡率,延长生存期,提高生命质量。 |

| Abstract: | In the United States, cancer is the most common cause of death in people aged 50 years and older. In 2007, a total of 560 000 cancer deaths were reported, accounting for about 23% of all deaths. It is estimated that about 1.6 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed and 570 000 individuals will die from cancer in 2011. Many of the cancers could be prevented if certain intervention strategies are taken such as controlling of tobacco use, improving dietary habits, increasing physical activity, and reducing ... |
