Abstract: | This hospital phlebotomy team tackled their age-old turn around time (TAT) problem by implementing a technology that is becoming commonplace in a variety of businesses. Through the use of two-way communication headsets, this hospital laboratory significantly reduced TAT, improved service perceptions by the medical and nursing staffs, and diminished stress levels of the venipuncture team. |
