Abstract:Objective To establish a method for simultaneous determination of 8 nitrosamine compounds in drinking water by solid phase extraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPE-GC-MS).Methods After adding internal standards,water samples were enriched,purified,and concentrated through a SPE column packed by coconut shell-derived activated carbon and determined by GC-MS,with the internal standard samples for quantification.Results The linear range of 8 nitrosamine compounds was between 10 and 250 ng/L,with a good linear relationship(correlation coefficient r>0.998).The limit of detection was(1.26-3.00)ng/L,and the limit of determination was(4.20-10.0)ng/L.For water samples with low,medium,and high concentrations of nitrosamine compounds,the recovery rate ranged from 78.6%to 116%,and the relative standard deviation ranged from 1.50%to 11.1%.This method provided satisfactory results for the determination of source water and terminal water.Conclusion This method is simple,sensitive and stable,which can meet the requirements for the determination of the 8 nitrosamine compounds in drinking water and source water.
