Abstract: | Postpartum hemolytic uremic syndrome (PHUS) is one of the atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome. Clinical manifestation of PHUS is acute kidney failure, with thrombocytopenia and microangiopathic hemolytic anemia during postpartum to 10 weeks postpartum. It is rare, but mortality is high. This article discusses the definition, pathogenesis, pathomechanism, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, general treatment, obstetric treatment and the prognosis of PHUS. |
