| Abstract: | This is a rare case of chromosome ( 14; 21)Robosonian's balanced translocation. The woman had 3 recurrent abortions and one son was delivered by cesarean section during a married life for 3 years. Gynecological examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. The chromosome's karyotype of her husband is normal, but her G banding had revealed 45 XX, -14 -21 t(14q; 21q ) . Her father, two younger brothers and her son are all carriers of chromosome 14, 21 Robosonian balanced translocation. Other members of her family had no abortion and fetal abnomalities. The carries of the balanced translocation is always candidate for Prenatal diagnosis. |
