Similarities and differences of philosophical theories on the basis of Chinese and Greek medicine

Two of the oldest civilizations, Chinese and Greek, seem far too close during the antiquity, despite the distance between them, through their philosophers. Ancient people were asking fundamental questions about a wide range of phenomena and were trying to answer them on the basis of systematic investigations. Among the subjects that interested them were the movements of the heavenly bodies, the working of the human body in health and in illness, the nature of the changes that physical objects undergo. The aim of this essay is a brief approach on the basic philosophical theories of these two cultures through their similarities and differences.
