甲状腺激素与衰老关系的研究

目的 观察小剂量甲状腺激素（TH）延缓衰老的作用。方法 从健康体检人群中选择52例老年人作为治疗组，选择52例老年人作为对照组，分别测定TH、性激素和胰岛素样生长因子－1（IGF－1）的水平。老年治疗组每天口服甲状腺片12mg，对照组每天口服安慰剂，连服6个月后复查以上检查，并作统计学处理。结果 与老年对照组比较，老年治疗组的衰老症状明显好转；老年治疗组的衰老症状的积分与对照组比较有极显著差异（P＜0．01）；老年治疗组TH水平明显升高，与老年对照组比较有极显著差异（P＜0．01），性激素、IGF－1也有一定改变，与老年对照组比较有显著差异（P＜0．01和P＜0．05），以上各项指标与老年前组比较无显著性差异（P＞0．05）；治疗过程中未发现甲状腺素的副作用。结论 用小剂量TH治疗老年人，能改善衰老的症状，提高TH、性激素和IGF－1的水平。

Study on the relationship between thyroid hormone and aging

Objective To observe the effect of a small dose of thyroid hormone (TH) on the aging.Methods Fifty two healthy old persons from physical examination were chosen as treatment group and 52 served as control group. The levels of TH, IGF 1 and DHEA were determined separately. The aged in the treatment group took per os thyroid tablet 12 mg daily and those in the control group took per os VitB 1 30 mg daily for 6 months continuously. After treatment for 6 months, the levels of TH, IGF 1 and DHEA were determined again and statistically analyzed.Results As compared with the control group, the symptom of aging in the treatment group was obviously improved after 6 moths treatment. There was very significant difference in the scores of aging symptoms between the two groups ( P < 0.01 ). In the treatment group, TH, DHEA and IGF 1 levels were obviously increased as compared with those in the control group ( P < 0.01 or < 0.05 ). No any side effects for TH occurred during the treatment course.Conclusion Administration of small dose of TH in the aged can improve the symptoms of aging and increase the levels of TH, IGF 1 and DHEA.
