固定矫治器治疗期间牙冠表面菌斑指数调查

目的通过调查固定矫治器治疗中牙冠表面托槽周围的牙菌斑指数评价固定矫治器对龋病的影响.方法 80例接受固定矫治器治疗的患者分别在矫治前、矫治1个月、6个月、12个月、18个月时使用菌斑显示剂检测牙菌斑指数并进行统计学分析.结果矫治1个月、6个月菌斑指数均比矫治前大,具有显著性差异;戴用矫治器12、18个月的菌斑指数均具有显著性降低.结论固定矫治器的戴用易造成菌斑的滞留,因此,戴用固定矫治器的患者必须采取有效措施预防牙齿、牙周疾病的发生.

Investigation of Plaque Index on the Crown Surface of Teeth at the Different Stages of the Fixed Appliance

Objective To evaluate the effect to caries of the fixed appliance by the investigation of plaque index on the crown surface of teeth at the different stages.Methods The plaque indexes of 80 patients were checked before orthodontic treating,after one month,six months,twelve months and eighteen months,respectively.Results The plaque index of one month or six months was significantly bigger than before treating; and it was decreased significantly at either twelve or eighteen months.Conclusion The fixed appliance can make plaque detained easily,so that patients should use effective methods to prevent teeth from dental or periodontal diseases.
