| Abstract: | Summary A case of an angiomatoid malignant fibrous histiocytoma is presented. The electron microscopic findings demonstrate the presence of a variety of tumor cell types including smooth and striated muscle cells. This indicates that malignant fibrous histiocytoma originates from a pluripotent primitive mesenchymal cell. |
