Prader-Willi syndrome in old age

ABSTRACT. This case report describes a person with Prader-Willi syndrome who recently died, aged 71 years. It is suggested that her longevity was helped by being female, with a moderate degree of mental handicap and a degree of weight control which reduced the problems of diabetes and hypertension.
