| Abstract: | Twenty six cases of trigeminal neuralgia were treated with acuppuncture at Xiaguan (ST 7), Fengchi (GB 20), Erqian (EX) and Ashi points which were also injected with stauntonvine injectio. Twelve cases were cured, 7 markedly effective,1 improved and 1 unchanged. The total effective rate was 96.1 % .The results show that hydro-acupuncture with stauntonvine injectio may concentrate the medicinal efficacy into acupoints so as to enhance the analgesic action of acupuncture. |
