| Abstract: | Optical imaging or near infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging using enzymatically activatable smart probes is an exiting new imaging modality that can also be used for lymph node visualization and detection. This review intends to briefly summarize general aspects of optical imaging and its capabilities for lymph node imaging. |
