论民办高校建设临床医学专业全科医学方向的必要性

全科医学是一个面向社区与家庭,整合临床医学、预防医学、康复医学以及人文社会学科相关内容于一体的综合性医学专业学科。目前全国公立高等医科大学或医学院培养的医学本科生、研究生、博士生服务部门主要是大医院、专科医院、科研单位和高等医学院等,结果是专科医生过多,全科医生过少,目前我国只有全科医生不足4000人。为了方便社区和基层各年龄层次人员看病,尤其要解决社区和基层老年人看病难、看病贵等系列问题,改变临床医学专业培养方向是必要的,这既是社会的需要,也是社会广大人群的需要。长沙医学院临床医学专业全科医学方向获得了教育部批准的特色建设专业,通过临床基地教学初见成效。
