微波的生物效应及研究进展

摘    要:自18世纪以来科学家们一直对电磁场与生命的各种相互作用进行着科学的研究,其中微波方面占有相当重要的地位。微波是非电离性电磁辐射,其频率从300MHz到300GHz,对应的波长为1m到1mm。学术界在确定与评估微波的生物效应方面有着极大的争议,但一致认为微波不但有热效应,还有非热效应。本中肯地阐述微波对生物系统的生物效应及研究进展,主要是非热效应。

Abstract:Since the 18th century scientists have been intrigued by the interaction of electro-magnetic fields(EMFs) and various life processes. Microwaves are part of the electromagnetic spectrum and are considered to be that radiation ranging in frequency from 300 million cycle per second(300MHz) to 300 billion cycles per second(300GHz), which correspond to a wavelength range of 1m down to 1mm. This nonionising electromagnetic radiation is absorbed at molecular level and manifests as changes in vibrational energy of the molecules or heat. The present article is an attempt to familiarize the reader with pertinent information regarding the effects, mainly athermal, of microwave irradiation on biologic systems.
