| Abstract: | Acidic and basic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were encapsulated with cellulose derivatives having different functional groups, acidic (carboxymethyl cellulose), basic (chitosan), and neutral (hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose). The properties of the microcapsules were studied and the interaction of the drugs with chitosan was assessed. |
