Abstract: | Verruca vulgaris is a common, benign infection of the skin and mucous membranes caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Although many therapeutic options for warts exist, they have limited efficacy and there is no definitive cure for warts. We report the case of a 10-year-old girl with recalcitrant cutaneous warts persisting more than two years which resolved completely following vaccination with the nine-valent HPV vaccine. |
