Application progress of 3D printing in the diagnosis and therapy of pelvic fracture

Pelvic fracture is one of the most common fractures in clinic .Surgical treatment of pelvic frac-tures is relatively complicated because of its special and irregular ring bony structure .Internal fixation has become the main treatment for unstable pelvic fracture with the continuous exploration and practice .In recent years,3D printing technology has been gradually applied in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic fracture with the continuous progress of science and technology .Great progress has been made and related reports have increased year by year . We analyze the advantage of 3D printing technology in pelvic research through reviewing relative literatures .Also, the application progress , related controversial issues and further research directions are elaborated .
