口腔卫生宣教对固定正畸患者牙周临床指标影响的临床研究

目的 观察固定矫治对牙周临床指标的影响,探讨口腔健康教育对牙周健康的影响.方法 选取诊断为错颌畸形并接受双颌固定矫治器治疗的患者65人为实验组,以初诊尚未治疗的患者为对照组.比较各组PLI、TM、PD、AL、BOP、BI等牙周指标.结果 ①实验组的指数在矫正开始后均高于对照组,比较差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）.②口腔卫生宣教后实验组和对照组均低于宣教前,比较差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）.结论 固定矫治器的使用会影响牙周组织的健康,对接受治疗的患者进行口腔卫生宣传教育,有助于保持口腔卫生改善牙周状况.

Clinical study the influence of oral hygiene instruction on the periodontal clinical indexes of patients undergoing fixed orthodontics

Objective To observe the influence of fixed orthodontics on the periodontal clinical indexes and explore the effect of oral hygiene instruction （OHI） on periodontal health. Methods In this study, 65 pa- tients diagnosed as malocclusion and receiving treatment with bimaxillary fixed appliances were enrolled in the treatment group, those having not started treatment on their first visits enrolled in the control group. The com- parison was made between the two groups in periodontal indexes such as PLI, TMD, PD, AL, BOP, BI and etc. Results （~）The indexes of the treatment group are all higher than those of the control group after the initia- tion of treatment, the differences are statistically significant （P 〈 0.05）; （~）After OHI, both the treatment group and the control group exhibit lower indexes than before, the differences are statistically significant （P 〈 0. 05）. Conclusion The application of fixed appliance can influence the health of periodontal tissues. For pa- tients receiving such treatment, OHI is beneficial for improvement of their oral hygiene and periodontal status.
