摘    要:研制了一台测试机械密封可以在转速、介质压力和弹簧比压等不同工况下的温升量、摩擦扭矩和泄漏量的试验装置。以聚四氟乙烯和球墨铸铁材料为密封摩擦副进行了试验研究,结果表明:随着转速和弹簧比压的增大,端面温度上升速率增大;端面摩擦因数随转速和弹簧比压的增大而增大,当转速达到2 000 r/min时,摩擦因数趋于平缓;泄漏量随转速和介质压力的增加而增大,但随弹簧比压的增加而迅速减小,当弹簧比压达到0.22 MPa时,泄漏量趋于稳定。

Abstract:It is very meaningful to investigate the temperature rise, friction torque, leakage of mechanical seal through experiments. In this paper, a mechanical seal testing device was established to measure the tribology performance of mechanical seal under various operating conditions. The PTFE and ductile iron materials were taken as the friction pair of mechanical seal. The tribology performance was measured such as temperature rise, friction torque and leakage. The test indicates that the temperature growth rate increases with the increase of rotational speed and spring pressure. The coefficient of friction increases with the increase of rotational speed and spring pressure, and is basically unchanged when the speed reaches 2 000 r/min. The leakage raises up when the rotational speed and medium pressure grows up, and decreases rapidly when the spring pressure increases, and becomes almost constant when the spring pressure reaches 0.22 MPa.
