老年冠心病白细胞介素-6-634C/G多态性研究

目的探讨白细胞介素-6(IL-6)基因启动子上游634C/G多态性在老年冠心病患者和正常人群中的分布及与冠心病的相关性。方法应用聚合酶链反应-限制性片断长度多态性技术对汉族104例老年冠心病患者及106例正常人白细胞介素-6基因-634C/G多态性位点进行研究,同时结合血脂、C反应蛋白、IL-6水平探讨两者之间的关系。结果-634C等位基因频率在老年冠心病患者和正常人群分别为77·9%和85·4%,G等位基因频率分别为22·1%和14·6%。冠心病患者-634GG基因型频率和G等位基因频率明显高于正常对照组(P<0·05)。结论IL-6基因-634C/G位点多态性与老年冠心病呈相关性。G等位基因可能是老年冠心病的易感性标志。

Study on interleukin 6 gene 634C/G polymorphisms of coronary heart disease in the elderly

Objective To explore the distribution of interleukin 6 (IL-6) gene promoter 634C/G polymorphisms in the elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and normal population and its correlation with CHD. Methods IL-6 gene-634C/G polymorphisms were assayed by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) in 104 Han nationality elder patients with CHD and 106 healthy individuals. The relationship between gene polymorphisms of interleukin-6 and levels of serum lipids, C reactive protein and IL-6 were also studied. Results The -634C allele frequency in elder patients with CHD and normal controls was 85.4% and 77.9%, while -634G allele frequency was 22.1% and 14.6% respectively. The frequencies of GG genotype and -634G allele were higher in patients with CHD than those in controls (P<0.05). Conclusions IL-6 gene -634C/G polymorphism could be related to CHD in the elderly. The G allele might be a marker for susceptibility of CHD.
