海口居民对同性恋的认知和态度调查

目的 了解海口居民对同性恋的认知、看法和态度,为减少社会对同性恋的歧视,预防艾滋病传播蔓延提供科学依据.方法 采用流行病学现况调查的方法,用随机分层抽样方法,根据研究的目的设计调查问卷,遵循知情同意原则进行问卷调查,采用SPSS 13.0对统计数据进行卡方检验分析.结果 不同性别、年龄、文化程度及职业的人群对同性恋的认知和态度不同.女性表现出更能接受同性恋者和对同性恋的认知程度更高,例如“同性恋是一种正常的生理现象”这个问题时,男性回答正确率是37.2％,女性是38.2％.文化程度高者接纳同性恋和认知程度更高,例如“什么性别的同性恋的人易感染艾滋病”这个问题时,本科及以上人群的宽恕率是60.3％,而小学以下的则是35.6％.年龄在18～30岁之间的人群更能接受同性恋者,在职业方面,以学生对同性恋的态度更加积极、认知程度更高.结论 对于由同性恋传播的艾滋病预防工作的重点是对文化程度较低的、年龄在18岁以下及35岁以上的、男性、职业基本是以体力劳动为主的基层工作者,广泛普及同性恋的宣传知识,解除对同性恋的歧视.

Survey of cognition and attitude towards homosexuality among residents in Haikou city

Objectives To understand the cognition, perception and attitude towards homosexuality among residents in Haikou city and to provide a scientific basis for preventing the spread of AIDS and reduce social discrimination against homosexuals. Method questionnaire survey of the cognition, perception and attitude towards homosexuality among residents in Haikou city by using cross-sectional study and random stratified sampling method with informed consent. The results were analyzed with SPSS13.0. Results The residents＂ cognition and attitude towards homosexuality from different gender, age, education, and occupation were different. Female showed much willness to accept homosexuality and had a higher cognitive degree about homosexuality.Those with higher education background were much wiliness to accept homosexuality and their cognitive degree was higher, being 60.3% in graduates and 35.6% in primary school or below. Those in 18-30 age group showed much wiliness to accept homosexuality. With regard to the occupations, students had an active attitude and higher cognitive degree to homosexuality. Conclusion The key work to prevent the spread of AIDS by homosexuals is to improve the cognitive degree among males aged 18 or above 35 years, mainly physical laborer. The knowledge of homosexuality and eliminating social discrimination against homosexuality be popularized.
