Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of adjuvant vitamin D on allergic symptoms and immune response in children with cow milk protein allergy. Methods From March 2018 to June 2020,60 children with severe CMPA were selected as the subjects in Anhui Provincial Children''s Hospital, and were divided into 30 cases in control group and 30 cases in observation group according to random number table method.The control group was treated with free amino acid, while the observation group was treated with auxiliary vitamin D on the basis of control group. After 28 days of treatment, the clinical allergic symptoms of the two groups after intervention, levels of peripheral blood 25 hydroxyvitamin D and interleukin-10(IL-10) content, Treg subgroup proportion levelswere compared between the two groups. Results After 28 days of treatment, the total effective rate (80.0%) in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (46.7%),and difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of 25 hydroxyvitamin D,IL-10 and Treg subsets in observation group(104.22±11.23) mmol/L, (103.77±7.69) pg/ml, (3.56±0.65)] were significantly higher than those in control group(83.79±8.37) mmol/L, (69.97±7.43)], and all the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of phosphorylation STAT3(0.22±0.01) inobservation group were significantly lower than those in control group (0.65±0.10), the levels of phosphorylation STAT5(0.45±0.11) were markedly higher than those in control group (0.31±0.08), and all the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Adjuvant vitamin D combined with free amino acid is superior to single free amino acid in the treatment of children with milk protein allergy.
