Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical value of color ultrasound in the study of carotid artery plaque in patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:One hundred and fifty-seven patients with cerebral infarction were included in the cerebral infarction group.CT angiography(CT infarction group)and color ultrasonography(color ultrasound infarction group)were performed respectively.Another 157 healthy subjects were included in the non-cerebral infarction group,who also underwent CT angiography(CT control group)and color ultrasonography(color ultrasound control group).The diagnostic accuracy and image quality of carotid artery plaques in the four groups were compared.Results:The number of carotid plaques and plaques at different locations in CT cerebral infarction group and color ultrasound group were dramatically higher than those in CT control group and color ultrasound control group(P<0.05).The number of carotid plaques and plaques at different locations in the color ultrasound infarction group were significantly higher than those in the CT infarction group(P<0.05).The number of Grade 1 and Grade 3 images in the color ultrasound infarction group and the color ultrasound control group was significantly better than that in the CT infarction group and the CT control group,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion:Color ultrasound can accurately detect the number and distribution of plaque in patients with cerebral infarction with high image quality and high clinical promotion value.
