Study on the influencing factors of residents'behavioral compliance to COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures

Objective To understand the influencing factors of residents'behavior compliance on preventive and control measures during the COVID-19 epidemic,so as to provide basis for improving residents'behavior compliance in public health emergencies.Methods Questionnaire survey was used as main method and face-to-face interview as the supplementary method.Results Among the 388 residents,the proportion of residents'behavior compliance whom lived in rural areas was lower 20%than those lived in urban areas.It was positive correlation between self-rated health and residents'behavioral compliance,and the behavioral compliance of residents increased by 0.18 units for every 1 unit increase in self-rated health.The behavior compliance of employees in enterprises,farmers,students and other occupational staffs was higher compared with the staffs in government office.For every 1 unit increase in the understanding of the COVID-19,residents'behavioral compliance increased by 0.13 units.For every 1 unit increase in the impact of the COVID-19 prevention and control publicity on self-protection awareness,residents'behavioral compliance will increase by 0.08 units.Conclusions Residence,occupation,the limit of community(or village)for residents'movement,self-rated health,knowledge of the COVID-19,and the impact of the COVID-19 prevention and control publicity on self-protection awareness have statistically significant influencing factors for residents'compliance of the COVID-19 preventive and control measures.
